These Terms of Use apply to sharperimagefinancial.com and its client and advisor subdomains (together, the "Site"), operated by Sharper Image Financial Services, LLC (the "Firm," "we," or "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Information only, not advice
Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes. It is not personalized investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security or advisory service. An advisory relationship is formed only through a written agreement with the Firm. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Please review our Form ADV Part 2A for important information about our services, fees, and conflicts of interest.
Registered investment adviser
Sharper Image Financial Services, LLC is a registered investment adviser. Registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training. Advisory services are offered only where the Firm and its representatives are properly registered, notice filed, or exempt from registration.
Advisor recruiting content
Content on the advisor site, including payout grids and calculators, is illustrative, is not a guarantee of earnings, and is not an offer of employment or a contract. Advisors are engaged only under a written agreement.
Ownership and permitted use
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, layouts, calculators, payout materials, and software, are owned by the Firm or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view the Site and print or save individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Without our prior written permission you may not:
- copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content;
- use automated tools such as scrapers, bots, or crawlers to collect content or data, other than ordinary search engine indexing;
- use our names, logos, or marks, or frame or mirror the Site;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any account or data; or
- use the Site in any way that is unlawful or interferes with its operation.
Submissions
Information you submit through our forms, such as contact requests and advisor applications, is used to respond to you and is handled under our Privacy Policy. Please do not include account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information in a form or email. Submitting a form does not create an advisory relationship.
Third-party links and services
The Site may link to or embed third-party sites and tools, such as scheduling, custodian, and planning platforms. Links are provided as a convenience and are not an endorsement. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its content is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time by posting a revised version with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law rules, and any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
